Hi there!
I'd like to install the TeXLive-distro on my new(er) pc with Duke as I did approx. half a year before on another with arch072. But the necessary tetex-fake.pkgbuild (to replace tetex) is gone!
Anyway, I still have got that pkgbuild. Can I still use it, or is something more actual or even better out now?
thx

I'm not sure what do you mean by "it's gone" - from where?
Anyway, an empty texlive pkgbuild (I think that's what you mean by tetex-fake) is here: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=32695
And some actually more-less working texlive pkgbuilds are here:

yes, thanks Bender02,
good that you asked! It was a dummy to install the (live-)image.
sry for being such a noob! I even looked for it in aur, but i guess if I'd be a bit more experienced, I could have done that dummy by myself. (This one I got is not the same but looks [of course] similar.)
Well the latest thread about texlive is very interesting but, bec. I'm no prgrammer or developper at all I prefer to take the dummy (means my) way until a texlive-pkg will be finished
-- for the price of several hundred MB of diskspace.
PS: Well, if I'd only have a <15''-screen, I would've recognized your thread here a few lines above.
Or, even worse, I better had to search the forum for "texlive" first! -- Oh, I don't like mondays~
Edit: Well, I ask the moderators either to put this thread into the 'newbie-section' or to delete it; it seemes quite obsolete to me~
