Re: request Wine release 0.9.37

you can also get it from frugalware and just rename the .fpm pkg.tar.gz tongue (worked for me after deleting som frugal specific dirs in it...)

Re: request Wine release 0.9.37

Or you just wait!!!!
Using frugalware packages is a very bad idea!!!!

It's flagged out of date...so wait or build it at your own.
But don't install frugalware packages!!!

well you WOULD have to know what your doing but if you DO it's much better than waiting 3 hours for wine to compile or waiting weeks for a dev to get around to it. OK!!!

Took me 20 minutes to compile the edited PKGBUILD...

According to packages.ubuntu.com feisty has got 0.9.33-0ubuntu1 in "universe".
WineHQ might have 0.9.38 in their repo though (which isn't the same thing, really).

If you feel arch is lacking, why not educate yourself and do something about it?

Well it took me about 3 hours... But that's not really the point, if you had used the frugalware package it would have taken you 0 minutes to compile, depending on your proficiency 3 minutes to "fix" the frugal pkg to arch way. Still think it sounds better...

NOTE: I'm not suggesting doing stuff like this for people that don't know what they are doing(and you know who you are...) but for those of us who do I can't understand why anyone would spend time compiling and having a slow computer while doing it too...
