Window Maker abandoned?

Does anyone know if Window Maker is abandoned?
It's last stable release dates from 2 years ago and nothing seems to be happening.

In one month we can sadly celebrate 1st anniversary of last discussion on wm-dev mailing list, and a month later -- last post. The discussion was about creating experimental branch, with more developers involved, but the only visible result -- wmaker-exp project -- seems dead as well since August '06. Of course, I have no inside view of either of the projects, but the silence seems meaningful

My only hope now is that I'll find usable and stable dock (NOT slit, iconbox, launchpad nor task switcher, for all 'but there is...' replies). Maybe gnome-dock or XQDE will do someday.

Too bad, it's (was) a very interesting WM, looks really great and very configurable.
