Ardour + Jack + qjackctl [solved]

I am having trouble getting Ardour to recognize JACK. Please see my post on the ardour forums here:

It appears all these are the latest versions. Is anyone else able to run these together, is there something wrong with the arch repo builds, or am I just doing something wrong?

seems not to be a problem anymore with the latest package builds.
