Can Wengophone talk to "outside" SIP networks?

I've tried calling to and from my Twinkle Phone and Wengophone 2 with no luck. The Twinkle phone is set up running an Ekiga.net account, and it works calling to and from all sorts of SIP networks. Actually, every SIP network I've tried works other than Wengophone.  Has anyone had any success here? If so, what am I missing?

Just happened over your question. The short answer is: Yes, I have had success.

But I guess you would like to know what I have done. Rather than registering with Wengo I register with my own Asterisk, Due to my Asterisk dialplan I can connect to any SIP phone I want. I use Wengophone version 2.1 which has the option to register with other providers.
