As I was doing some testing on a script that I wrote, I came across an issue when searching for packages waiting to be upgraded (pacman -Qu equivalent)

I'm guessing that the package is being moved from [community] to [extra] and hasn't been removed from [community] yet, but maybe it's something with my local database. Anyone else show the same thing?

Actually, it's the opposite: scite was moved from extra to community but hasn't been removed from extra. I just removed it from extra. Other packages could be in the same situation.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks for the response. Not that it's a big deal, but out of sheer curiosity may I ask why it's being moved?

Because of the current repo cleanup to decrease the dev's workload: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Package_Cleanup
There's no need to have ~20 editors in extra.
