HAL slows my system

Hi everyone...

I have a problem, since I don't know when because it's the first time I use HAL in order to use automounting in my Thunar (Xfce).

When I add it in rc.conf in the sections of DAEMONS, my system takes to much time to load my X session.

I wanted to add some log but I can't find an useful one.

most likely it is not hal itself, but some program using hal, and hal is queried via dbus. maybe check dbus is started before hal, and take a peek at dbus activity?
