(I use gtk+ and gnome application...Qt/Kde app aren't my and my os favourite things)

Re: Dvd Burner

I've never even heard of Brasero. I always use k3b (lot's of functionality, easy to use but QT) or sometimes Graveman (GTK2).

A bus station is where a bus stops.
A train station is where a train stops.
On my desk I have a workstation.

Re: Dvd Burner

You can go back to basics and use text based commands.  K3B is widely accepted as the easiest and most full-featured so it is recommended if you can cope with the dependencies.

The wiki may have some more guidance.

Re: Dvd Burner

You could try gnomebaker if you prefer Gnome GUI.

Or Xfburn which comes with XFCE 4.4

Otherwise I recommend K3B.

I'm not sure how you burn Dual Layer DVDs, though.
