Hi all,
I was trying to burn a Dual Layer DVD in K3b, total size of 6.9GB. But k3b failed to burn it, so I had to copy it over to Windows, where I successfully burned it via Nero 6.
Does Linux support burning of dual layer DVDs? Maybe k3b needs further updating by the authors, or perhaps there is a command-line equivalent.
Thanks

Basically, k3b should be able to burn dual layer dvds by using dvd+rwtools (i think). At least here, it does the job perfectly.
You could try if Nero for Linux does support it. Nero is available in version 3 for Linux, for 20 USD at the moment, and there are trial versions as well.

I'm using Nero 3 and there's no problem with dual layer dvd's apart from poor quality discs giving errors.

Thanks, I'll give Nero 3 for linux a try.

I also thought on buying nero. Not for the reason that i'd like to use it, but to support software development for linux. I appreciate it very much that nero provides a linux version of their software package. That's the step in the right direction.
