SVG-image as background

Is there a program that can set a SVG image as desktop background?

Re: SVG-image as background

If you are using Gnome, XFCE or KDE you should be able to do this by default, as far as I know.

Re: SVG-image as background

No, it doesn't have a GUI for setting the background. You can specify a background image in the preferences file, but SVG isn't supported. That's why I'm looking for a seperate app.

Re: SVG-image as background

Or use feh, which supports fake transparency.

feh --bg-scale picture.svg

Re: SVG-image as background

There is also hsetroot as well, which has a sole purpose of setting backgrounds. xD There are lots of other little background setting things around. hehe

Re: SVG-image as background

Thanks! Feh and hsetroot both use imlib2, which doesn't support SVG. Display works fine though.
