Can the Arch logo be modified/removed during the boot sequence?

I'm working on an overall system theme for Arch and I'm wondering if and how I can change the default Arch logo (actually two logos, side by each) that appears in the upper left corner during the bootstrap process.  Any suggestions?

*edit*

Okay, I stumbled onto this thread: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=28200

It looks like it's compiled within the kernel.  Is there a kernel option I can add with GRUB that will at least disable the logo?  I'm not comfortable with building custom kernels yet, but this would work in the interim. Thanks!

Only way I know of, is to rebuild the kernel, whitch isn't that scary if you use abs and the "stock" .config that arch uses. Just remove the logo either from the build dir, or from the .config. Or replace it with a image of your liking.

But imo, it looks like a lot of work just to remove a logo that only shows for a few seconds at boot time.
