request: An option to disable PASV mode

At home everything works perfectly for me but at school i can't use pacman because pasv mode somehow doesn't work. is it possibla to make a pacman option like DisablePasv in the config file ??

yes, try the search for "passive theft"

I was thinking about making a patch..
but that'll have to wait until i have some time.
anyway i'll post it here once i've made it and you can decide to do it yourself or to use it smile

A "NoPassiveFtp" option is available since pacman 2.4 See pacman manpage wink
