Hi,
I heard about stellarium and decided to try it out, but there are a lot of dependencies so I used this page to get the package names so I could install them.
http://stellarium.org/wiki/index.php/Build_Dependencies
I cannot however find the libqt4-dev package anywhere, only debian packages. It doesn't seem to be in the AUR or the pacman repositories. I have tried 'libqt' 'liebqt4' etc and I can't find anything, but I have heard this is a pretty popular app so I guess there must be a simple solution I am missing. Can anyone give me any advice?
Thanks in advance,
Calef13

I think it's 'qt4' in the community repo.

You really don't need to build from source. Stellarium is in the extra repos. Also it is included and preconfigured in FaunOS:

raymano, I got it from the extra repo thanks, I was doing 'pacman -S Stellarium' when it was 'pacman -S stellarium' which done it. Thanks a lot, also hpestilence was right qt4 does exist, but I won't bother trying to compile it now that I have it in the extra repo. Thanks for all the help guys.
