skype dialpad doesn't work

I don't get the dialpad in skype to work. I can hear it myself, but not the other end, so I can 't press 2 to make a choice when I call a company .. I think this is because the mic signal is sent without the dialpad being blended into it. How can I make this work? Stupid to have to reboot into windows to call my bank!!

Thanks for the link! I use 1.3.0.53_api. But the link suggest that it got even worse in the new beta. Is anybody having the dialpad functioning on linux?
