Looking for this type of environment...

After trying out various WMs and DEs, I've found out what I want but not sure what I'm looking for

* taskbarless enviornment where I can access the menu, etc. from clicking on the desktop
* can also use Compiz-fusion
* stripped down of extra programs, etc. except for settings and configuration so it's fast and uses minimal resources

Anyone have any suggestions?

xfce... just uninstall and disable the parts you don't need.  by far the easiest way to do it.

Yeah i think that would be your best bet seeing how you want to use Compiz-fusion

After some tweaking, exactly what I was looking for. smile

BTW, when I select shutdown it reboots the computer?
