New conky and wallpaper from my last one; still haven't found a new iconset that I like though.
Same OB and GTK theme from last month, LAUGHmod2 and MurrinaBW go with everythinghttp://fallendusk.org/Pictures/Screensh … -thumb.png
i'll post my laptop's once I copy my conky configs to it and add laptopish stuff to it, and find a new wallpaper i like.
Nice desktop.
What is the app called that is in the bottom left of the screen?

the taskbar app is ttm/tint.
someone posted a pkgbuild for it back in the may screenshot thread (i think it was the author?), but i've put the pkgbuild in my svn repo so it doesn't get lost (seems to not be the aur)

Is it docker you use?
no docker, the upper left corner is a pager called tangent, and a notification tray called trayer, the rest is flux and xcompmgr
archlinux - please read this and this — twice — then ask questions.

Not quite.
It's mplayer with the caca output plugin.. and the last episode of Heroes.
I don't really understand what the plugin is really useful for, more than looking cool.

Well.. of course it's possible but as you see it really makes the visual experience quite crazy.

Use makepkg to build, even though it looks like you should use versionpkg.
You can choose the angle, reflections, size, etc in gconf.
...On that note:

its not so bad if you sit far away from the screen. i actually tried this one day at work and it worked out quite well. i watched gone in 60 seconds in a console environment lol (yeah i was bored)

Hey, I checked the AUR and found tangent-svn package... though it seems that the link to the svn trunk is dead...
Could you provide me with a link that points to tangent src, please ?

Did you report your patch to awn team ?

Last time I tried to build awn from aur (not awn-svn), I couldn't add new link to application in awn.. quite annoying !
I will try with yours.

The patch is being developed here:
http://www.planetblur.org/hosted/awnfor … sLive=true
...I just added it to the awn-svn PKGBUILD
I find that I need to create a launcher for any app that goes on the bar; it doesn't seem to work any other way.

I've just installed your avant-window-navigator package, but I can't figure out how to run it. Sorry for the silly question, but neither avant-window-navigator nor awn work as command.
Thanks!
Edit:
Well, I though about deleting this post, but I'll just leave it here, to testify for my moronity. I had forgotten to actually install the package I actually created with makepkg. I think aur-get is giving me bad habits
Edit Edit:
Actually I've also got a real question. I'm quite new to Linux in general, and I never understood how to apply patches. How do I apply this one, for example? I thought it was being automatically included with PKGBUILD, but it doesn't seem to be so, since there's no option for the reflection effect in gconf.
Thanks

The reflection should automatically be applied, but you might not be able to see it if your icons are too low on the bar. Change /apps/avant-window-navigator/bar/icon_offset
note: you might have to restart awn to see a difference.
