it actually is not the Novell gnome menu. It is usp. I ripped it from the ubuntu forum and did put it in the AUR some time ago. USP is very customizable. A lot of additional plugins can also be found on the ubuntu forum.

Re: July 2007 Screenshots

Every time I try out Xfce I end up falling in love with it. It's so light and nice looking, plus so compatible with Gnome, that Gnome quickly becomes useless. The only thing I miss are the 3 menus Gnome provides.
When I was on Ubuntu, I tried several times to install Xfce, but there was something wrong, since after a few days it started to suck my CPU (100% usage) and I couldn't even move the mouse anymore. I never found out what the problem was, I guess there was something dodgy with the xubuntu-desktop package. I hope it was not some kind of conflict between Gnome and Xfce being installed at the same time (otherwise I am screwed).

Anyway, after this very interesting story, here you go:

By the way, if anyone can tell me how to get that script that shows all the specs in the terminal (the one with the Arch logo) I would be very grateful. smile
