Trouble Installing Arch

Well, I am a long time user of Arch just coming back after a stint with Kubuntu and it appears that some of the installer issues remain. I downloaded the latest ftp installer and after setting up all my partitions and what not and try to install the base packages, I get stuck on Retrieving pacakges from current and then it just stops.

I have selected several repos and the same issues exist. Network is set up and I can ping out. Interestingly enough, this issue was around about 2 years ago also. The only installer I have been able to get to work was the 7.2 version. However, for some reason, that one doesnt start up the dhcpd now.

Anyone have any ideas as to why the repos dont work?

Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Trouble Installing Arch

Where are you located, and what mirror are you using?  I just did an ftp install on a machine yesterday and it worked fine.  The Georgia Tech mirror (gatech.edu) works good, maybe you can try that one?
