I've got kdemod installed, but I don't want to have lm_sensors installed. As it stands, I can't uninstall lm_sensors, because it's a requirement of kdemod-kdebase.
Is there any way to eliminate lm_sensors as a requirement of kdemod-kdebase?
I don't want lm_sensors because I have an IBM Thinkpad, and, not only does my Thinkpad have its own proprietary sensor system, it can have serious ROM corruption problems if lm_sensors is installed. The lm_sensors developers have worked hard to minimize the risk, but it's still not advisable to install lm_sensors on a Thinkpad (see http://www.lm-sensors.org/browser/lm-se … .thinkpad).
Thanks for any advice.

"pacman -Rd lm_sensors" shouldn't break anything.

Actually, it turned out to be more of a pacman question than a kdemod question.

Thanks, lucke. I forgot about the -d option of pacman. That got me the results I wanted.
