libqt-mt and libstdc++5

hello.
well, the problem is that when im trying to run some prog, it says

 /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found

but i do have libstdc++.

the second problem i when trying to run virtual box, it says

./VirtualBox: error while loading shared libraries: libqt-mt.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

and i cant find this libqt-mt package.


chown -R us /home/your/.base

Did you relogin/reboot after you installed VirtualBox/qt?

yes i did. and btw i didnt install qt. as i said - i didnt find it in packages.

from package search for qt :

Extra      lib      qt      3.3.8-4      The QT gui toolkit.      2007-06-24

Pacman -S qt should be enough to install it.


Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

well, i searched for libstdc++5 and found it in the /var/lib/pacman/local and .../current folders. but open office and other progs looking in /usr/lib

yeah. just installed it. and libstdc++5 IS installed.
