2007-08-07: made 2 different color variations on the logo/icon design. A minor update for Arch pseudo3d [alternative style]. Remade some shadows in the grey part of the arch logo just to make it a bit smoother.

The previous post:
Made a new wallpaper and updated some of the logo's shadows and highlights (at this point the updated logo is only available in the latest wallpaper).
The original post:
This is some stuff that I have worked on for a while. I was actually planning to use it for a the unofficial CD cover I was doing for the upcoming release of voodoo, but I didn't use it. I still thought it had some potential and I keeped working on it and here is the final result. I am going to upload it to gnome-look (or something similair) but that means that I need to come up with a name for the artwork.
The png versions of the wallpapers are mainly consider as preview of two different colors since the svg version has a transparent background. So in other words, fell free to select your own background color if you want to use this wallpaper. Hope you like it.
It doesn't work that great in kde since I have used inkscape and I believe kde is using a different rendering engine for svg.

funkyou made a gensplash theme using this logo.
Here is a preview of the image which is used in the silent gensplash theme:
Thanks funkyou, it looks great IMO.

In my opinion, this is the best arch artwork i have seen so far. So i just felt the urge need to make a splash out of it

The black color in the previews is just there to make it easier to view these logos and mostly because it looks better on a dark background.

I made 2 different color variations on the logo/icon design. The preview is using a grey background color but that's just to ensure that the transparent logo/icon is visible.
Enjoy!
