MPD Playlists

Hey There,

I've started trying MPD and generally I like it... Despite that, I'm having trouble with playlists.. I'm not a person that uses playlists everyday.. But I guess I have to use playlists to play..

Any way, am I able to add all MP3 files in the directory to a default playlist or any other option ?

there's the main playlist, which is what it plays through.

in sonata, you can browse by directory tree and just right click and add it. I also believe directories is the default browse mode of ncmpc too. gmpc also has file based browsing... so which frontend are you using?

ncmpc was I using.. It has UTF-8 problems by the way.. Many of the Turkish ID information are seems to lack in it.. mpc shows them right.. I didn't like most of the GUI's since they also lack of locale problems.. I like Rhythmbox but it has problems once again right now..

Try ncmpc-svn in AUR one of the revisions should add unicode support (I just changed the PKGBUILD to fetch the latest rev myself and it seems to work for me).

It can't be built because of the SSH authentication failure.. :S
