Hello. I followed the Wiki's article on http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AutoFS_HowTo to enable automount on KDE, but I try to access my USB stick on Konqueror and the following error message comes:
A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member "Mount" error name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal")
However, I can easily and normaly automount and use CDs/DVDs.
I have hal and autofs on my daemons list of /etc/rc.conf. And I have added myself to the storage group.
Any clues?

OK, for some strange reason I powered my PC today and it's working now.

you don't need AutoFS to automount in KDE! Maybe you knew that already?
hal daemon should be enough. (it starts dbus daemon with it, and with pmount and konqueror (allready installed with kde group) this is done without AutoFS). I can imagine AutoFS is needed in a DE without something like gnome-volume-manager or konqueror to do auto-mount on it's own, like in openbox/fluxbox though...

Gosh, no, I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me. When I get back home from work I'll try that, trash AutoFS and see what happens.
