Kaffeine xine error:Can't init new Video Driver opengl - using auto!
I have installed kmplayer and kaffeine. Also I have latest 8.39.4 radeon drivers.In KMplayer if I select movie player engine Xine and as video driver output OpenGL, all is OK, there is no complaint.
If I select OpenGL as video driver output in Kaffeine I get this error:
xine Error-Kaffeine Player
Error: Can't init new Video Driver opengl - using auto!
xine: found demuxer plugin: AVI/RIFF demux plugin
xine: found input plugin : file input plugin
I installed also gstreamer-good bad and ugly,divx4linux,mplayer,vlc.
VLC media player plays DVD video frame by frame. With Divx files I get just sound, no picture.

Try the xshm (or something like that) driver

Yeah but with this driver instead OpenGL, picture is pixelised.With OpenGL is antialiased.
Anyway thanks for suggestion.
This is lecture for me. Never-ever buy ATI's crap anymore.:mad:
OpenGL video driver works with xine,kmplayer and mplayer but not with kaffeine.

Sorry ATI, you suck. But you are not guilty in this case. 
Same issue: kaffeine problem and Kaffeine 0.8.5 problems "xine-part

From now on, I will backup every cache. Cause every update rewrite cache.I have luck that I have backed up my /var/cache. 
Summary: Problem was with new Kaffeine 0.8.5. I downgraded it to 0.8.4. Now there is no problems. Next time better to wait couple of days with upgrades, than rush. Microsoft school.
