Help with kchmviewer [Solved]

Suddenly kchmviewer stopped working. When I try to open a chm file instead of text it displays the message

Could not start process Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_msits'.

How can this be fixed?

Re: Help with kchmviewer [Solved]

This happend to me too, after i upgraded to kchmviewer 3.1-2.
I installed  kchmviewer 3.1-1  again and it works. If you have it in your pacman cache you can install it with pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/kchmviewer-3.1-1.pkg.tar.gz

Re: Help with kchmviewer [Solved]

I went to Settings->Change Settings and in Versions-specific Settings tab i switched to QTextBrowser-based widget. I have no idea what it is and what does it mean but it works big_smile

I had the exact same error message after I upgraded kchmviewer to v.3.1-2 and your tip fixed it as well.  Thanks for figuring this out.
