Alternative to aterm?

hello, I want a terminal which I can intergrate into the desktop like aterm can do, be able to determine it's extact position on the desktop like I can do with aterm, and be able to get transparent, but the issue with aterm is that it acts like xterm etc, I need an vte based terminal which can do this, does that really exist?

Re: Alternative to aterm?

The Terminal of XFCE4, maybe? The dependencies are lightweight and it does the job quite well. Goes by the name of "terminal" and resides in [extra].

You mean the positioning, I guess. Well, yeah. I always thought that this is best done by the Windowmanager. wink

I prefer to get the terminal to do that.
