Removing temporary directory: fglrx-install

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks,

Re: Fglrx and Invalid Xorg

Installing fglrx via pacman might avoid that problem.

Re: Fglrx and Invalid Xorg

You can also use abs, see arch wiki for more info.

Moreover fglrx drivers you tried to install are very old unless you have a video card older than radeon 9800.

Let us know if it works. smile

Re: Fglrx and Invalid Xorg

I need a fglrx 8.28.8 driver for a ATI Radeon 9100. Is there someone who still has one around or is able to build one?

Out of curiosity, why do you need fglrx ?

pacman roulette : pacman -S $(pacman -Slq | LANG=C sort -R | head -n $((RANDOM % 10)))

Because I'm unable to get 3D/dri working with the xf86-video-ati driver and would like to play UrbanTerror on that old machine wink.

Hm, 3d/dri should work perfectly with r200 chipset. It even works nearly correctly on r300 chipsets now.
But good luck playing UrbanTerror with that, I tried this game recently again (on a gf 5900xt), and it was not exactly smooth, I had fps drops to 10-20 fps.
