Install IDE Raid Controller

Hi,
I've got this UDMA 133 Raid Controller that works fine with windows (using the appropriate drivers).

I had three harddisks on my Mainboard IDE Controller and everything worked fine and Archlinux recognized sda,sdb and sdc. Then I took one HDD off that IDE Controller and plugged it into the Raid Controller and Archlinux only recognizes sda and sdb.

So how do I get my Raid Controller work with Archlinux? I just have drivers for windows...

Re: Install IDE Raid Controller

That card uses the silicon image 680 chipset, kernel module pata_sil680 .

Check if the pata_sil680 module is loaded.

NOTE : this is controller relies on software for the raid functions.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
