pacman 3.0.5-3

How to start I excuse my english!

#pacman -Syu
:: Synchronizing package databases...
 current is up to date
 extra is up to date
 community is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
 local database is up to date

#pacman -S any_application

Now I can go walk my dog, go for a dinner and maybe it will be done before I am back. It hangs on searching for a server. If pacman found a server, then downloads are fast and quick.

Re: pacman 3.0.5-3

Try moving the best servers to the tops of the files in /etc/pacman.d/.

Re: pacman 3.0.5-3

And use "rankmirrors" to find the best servers in the first place.
