Re: [NEW] Mercury

I'll make it an orphan if he doesn't get back to me.

Re: [NEW] Mercury

I have a PKGBUILD that installs 1.8 and runs it fine, only difference I'm doing is installing it all in /opt. I'm going to try and conform to the java packaging standards and add webcam support, then I'll post my PKGBUILD.

Re: [NEW] Mercury

PKGBUILD
required files

Put both of those in the same dir and run makepkg. Includes webcam (untested) and trayicon. Note this installs the files in /opt because I couldn't figure out how to run java.

Re: [NEW] Mercury

I'm gonna bring this back to life now.

Mercury seems as a really neat messenger and I'm really longing for the 1.9 stable smile
Atm I'm running 1.9RC2 and I have some problems... Could anyone type the exact file paths for the web cam files?

Re: [NEW] Mercury

I'm gonna bring this back to life again now.

I have downloaded and installed Mercury with Pacman, but there's no tray icon!! I can't live without it.

On the project website I can see there is something to download: http://www.mercury.to/index.php?sub=ExtraLibs.
I have downloaded the file, but I don't know what to do with it, especially not having a clue about Java.

If anybody can help it would be great smile
Thanks!

Re: [NEW] Mercury

1.9RC4b has webcam problems, update it to 1.9rc5. Webcam works with 1.9rc5.
