hi , last night. I update kerner26ck
[2007-08-18 21:11] upgraded kernel26ck (2.6.22.1.ck1-2 -> 2.6.22.3.ck1-1)
but nvidia-ck(100.14.11-2 ) doesn't work with it.
Xorg complains there is no module named nvidia in /proc/modues.
the dmesg says nvidia is something wrong with kmalloc_caches.
If I use kernel26ck (2.6.22-1.ck1-2), nvidia works well.
anyone can help me?

You will need to rebuild your nvidia-ck package:
su
Password:
abs
cp -r /var/abs/extra/x11/nvidia-ck /var/abs/local
cd /var/abs/local/nvidia-ck
makepkg PKGBUILD
pacman -U nvidia-ck-100.14.11-2.pkg.tar.gz
Hope that helps.

I'll put a rebuild in the repo later this morning.

Rebuild up now - let me know if it solves the problem.

Actually none of the ck modules work. nvidia-71xx-ck, lirc-ck and kqemu-ck are dead . So I must build all of them? Well... c'est la vie !

Yes, your new package is working, at least for me. Thank you for the update.

nvidia-71xx-ck (and possible the other nvidia*ck's) doesn't work either.

I've now rebuilt and uploaded all *-ck module packages. Apologies for the inconvenience.

The patience has its limits :

If you didn't already read about it, there are several threads on this forum about ck being stopped,
and about the new CFS scheduler coming in 2.6.23.

Thanks everyone, for the supportive comments - I enjoy what I'm doing, so the appreciation is an added bonus.
I think the mail referenced by shining speaks for itself. I'm not running out of patience - I would simply like our -ck package to retain the high quality that Con Kolivas' work deserves, for as long as it remains in our repos.

x86_64 team also has stopped maintaining the ck-kernel. we will also leave out the last update that would force us to rebuild all modules.
we will remove ck-kernel and ck-modules very soon from 64bit repos!
