2D CAD app

Hey all,

I need to do some simple two dimensional drafting that requires accurately depicting a lot of arcs, curves, and angles. I'm not sure what the best tool for the job is -- Gimp and Inkscape are more for artistic work and Dia is better suited for charts and diagrams than blueprints. Is there anything more suitable?

Thanks,
Dusty

Re: 2D CAD app

I installed this a few months ago on Ubuntu for a single, limited purpose, and after the purpose was fulfilled, I never used it again. However, I think based on my experience, and the research I did at the time when I was looking for such an app, this should do the trick:

http://www.qcad.org/

It seems to be in the Arch repos (community) as well.
