Gfxmenu - problem with downloaded theme's

It is not working for me
standart theme  working but when I download something theme it is:
invalid file format.
Help please

Try to make a theme :

pacman -S imagemagick
cp -r /usr/share/gfxboot .
convert "image" -resize 640x480 gfxboot/themes/"*theme"/back.jpg
make prep -C gfxboot/themes/"*theme"/
make -C gfxboot/themes/"*theme"/
sudo cp gfxboot/themes/"*theme"/boot/message /boot/message

"*theme'=NLD , SLES , SuSE or Zen

I know it (themes works only when I make it myself)
But what have i to do to enjoy downloaded theme?
e.g: some from gnome-look.org

grub-gfxmenu from AUR its patched with grub-gfxmenu-v8.diff from opensuse.So only themes for this patch work.
For other theme grub need to be patched with a compatible patch.

francis3, but I tried SO much themes...
These are from e.g 12.06.07!!
I think these should working!
