Webcam modules automatically loading?

I made a package that puts the quickcam drivers in /lib/modules/2.6.6/kernel/drivers/usb/misc/.  Everytime I boot, the modules are loaded.  There not in modprobe.conf, modules.conf, rc.conf, or in rc.local.  How are they getting loaded?   When i lsmod, they're at the bottom of the list, before vfat and ntfs... Why?

Re: Webcam modules automatically loading?

Hi,

Just a quick thought:
If the webcam is plugged in the computer on boot up, the kernel finds it and load the driver, so just unplug the cam...
Of course it's not plugged in, it does sound a bit weird...
