KDE timezone is wrong

My bios time is set correctly, but whenever I reboot my computer, kde sets the timezone to Vancover CA, which is pacific time.  I'm on the east coast, and I kind of don't want that tongue Is there a config file that I can force a timezone so it wont keep changing?

Re: KDE timezone is wrong

use ntp to synchronise with a server. ntp also has a nice man & wiki page wink

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

Re: KDE timezone is wrong

Thank you smile

I also fixed the problem without using ntp. While adding openntpd to the daemon list in rc.conf, I noticed my time was set to Canada/Pacific in there tongue
