firefox (2.0.0.3-2) and gmail

after upgrading firefox yesterday i have problems with the extension of gmail manager(it cant log into gmail).
till this version everything worked ok and i loged into my gmail with this extensions.
if i disable this extension i can go to gmail and log in(usually. sometimes it also stuck and i have to restart firefox to solve this stuck.)
with the extension enables i can't almost all the time, log into gmail.

someone suggest that there is a problem with the ssl, so after some search i found this site:

i did what he suggested and it worked for sometime but turn bad again and again it doesn't work.

also, sometimes, suddenly this extension work good, but after a while it go bad again.
i dont have a clue why suddenly it work.
very strange

can anyone know how can i install the previous package of firefox? (2.0.0.3-1) i dont have it in my cache. i clean it often.

or if not the previous version, any idea what is wrong?
it driving me crazy

Hi...

firefox 2.0.0.3-2 seems to have a bug...
It seems that this package has problems with opening ssl-encrypted sites..

There's already a bug report about this: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/7171

All you have to do is edit one file from this extension. Every extension is located in "extensions" folder. Find folder with Gmail plugin and open install.rdf for edit.

Find this section and change "maxVersion" from 2.0.0.* to 3.0.0.*. Save changes and restart browser.

I'm glad I saw this thread, I thought I was going crazy. I couldn't figure out why some sites would load and others wouldn't. Hopefully this gets fixed soon, I've downgraded for now..

i have SSL installed, but i can neither access gmail nor hotmail. i have a thread on this in the newbie section. any help would be aprecciated
