Woops.  I fixed it.  You can click on the magnifying glass in the new link to get the full screen shot.

Do you know where the picture for your wallpaper was taken? Also, could you share your wallpaper with us? Thanks, nice shot by the way.

I think it's the French Pyrenees.  I got it from here:

http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/details.php?id=442

That's a great site with lots of high resolution, landscape wallpapers.  I prefer landscapes; they're very calming.  I have 4 or 5 that I rotate regularly but that one's my favorite and it works very well on my desktop.

alexmatos: I did the positioning with per application settings, then just add everything to the autostart file. Any programs I may use but don't want autostarted I can pre-position with per application so after editing the xml files it's "virtually" automatic positioning/sizing. I don't see how one could make it check the positioning of other windows and then move a window to a free space or resize existing windows (like tiling WM's) but that doesn't seem necessary to me, since I always know what programs I have installed and what I may use potentially and where I would want it to be, position and size wise. It's really easy to edit the xml files each time you install something new or want to change something. I like how they state it on the openbox website "It can be like a video game for controlling windows." lol

shining: Last night I was talking about global no decorations 'n stuff, sorry if I misread your question. big_smile

I used to do the per application positioning and sizing, but now I'm just lazy to redo it (I came from Ubuntu and didn't bring my config files with me). They've became useless since Openbox is handling windows position much better since version 3.4.(3 or 4). The only app that cannot be handled properly is Firefox, that apparently doesn't save its position correctly, and if I set it in rc.xml, the 'Downloads' window is opened with the Firefox main window defined position (mainly because the ROLE variable is not define by Firefox as an WM_CLASS complement).

I guess I walked away a bit from the main topic, but this used to bother me a lot, so... wink

XFCE 4.4.1

I want to show my quodlibet tweak tongue. (I deleted all controls section, and two labels ("Search" and "info about number of songs and total duration").
Now it is perfect.

I'd like to see your screenshots, but I can't! All your urls point to # sad ...
