Intel-hda and soundcard not detected.

Hi all!

I bought a laptop a few days ago (Packard Bell EasyNote) and since i found arch the best distro for my old pc, I wanted to give it a shot with my laptop. So I installed arch, got everything to work properly...except sound. My soundcard is not detected by any of the programs and i've tried to google around for the solution. It has something to do with the intel-hda thingy that my computer has, and I've found out that similar problems are common. I've tried to install alsa properly and run alsaconfig, but no help there. What can be done to fix this problem? I installed Debian first, and the sound worked properly, but yet no luck with Arch. Any help appreciated.

Thanks.
