Xfce's Terminal Package Error

The latest version of the terminal for Xfce 4 is 0.2.6-5.  I have this file in my local repository, and I have updated Pacman's sync list, but when I install xfce4 Pacman searches for the old 0.2.6-4 version, but of course it is not there, so the terminal is not installed.  I know Pacman can detect things in my local repositories because I have successfully installed all of my programs from local repositories.  When I try specifically installing "terminal-0.2.6-5.pkg.tar.gz", Pacman says it can not install because dependencies can not be resolved.  How do I make Pacman see the newer file version?  I imagine the problem is that version 0.2.6-5 came out only three days ago, so some kind of list is probably not yet updated.

Re: Xfce's Terminal Package Error

I was able to install the Xfce terminal by resolving the dependencies myself and then directly installing the terminal file by "pacman -U terminal-0.2.6-5.pkg.tar.gz", but it would still be interesting to know why Pacman never found the updated terminal version.
