Re: good p2p client?

Try frostwire in the unstable repo. It's a bittorrent and gnutella client. It's a java app.

Azureus is in extra, so if that's what you want, use it!

Re: good p2p client?

I was always looking for something to replace azureus, so i tried a few bittorrent programs, but nothing really satisfied me. Now I'm pretty happy with Deluge, which is in the community repo.

Re: good p2p client?

The best torrent client in my opinion, UTORRENT, as used in WINDOWS.  Install WINE and watch the torrents fly.  Minimal resources, maximum output

I am in the process of trying out SHAREAZA but yet to see...

I don't see gtk-gnutella in the repos, is that the right spelling?

It's unsupported, so you'll have to build it yourself. Here's the AUR entry.

Re: good p2p client?

These are my choices: Deluge and/or transmission for torrents, amule for ed2k and linuxdc++ for direct connect. I don't use gnutella.

Deluge for Gnome and KTorrent for KDE. By far the best p2p apps I know.
