Firefox VideoDownloader: "Error: Not a valid URL" for most sites

Hi

Lately I just can't download any video clips form most all sites, including YouTube which was always OK. VideoDownloader gives me "Error: Not a valid URL" on most sites.

Any ideas please? I am using Arch64 "Don't panic" on an Athlon 64 machine.
