Running the latest version of Arch linux, I did pacman -Su before this update. I attempted to install firefox with
pacman -S firefox
The command showed no signs of error, however, the Firefox menu item was not present and there was no firefox binary present in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin. I attempted to install with ABS, and although I saw no errors with this method either, I still have no firefox. I did pacman -Rd firefox between each attempt to make sure that nothing was left behind.
I have installed other packages (Xorg, fluxbox, rhythmbox and others) without any issue. I also have not seen any other threads about this in the forum archives, and I have tried pacman -S bonecho incase the package name was not officially branded. Thank you for your time.

It's put in /opt, thus you have to relogin for it to get in your path.

thanks, although why it would install in /opt/mozilla/bin instead of /usr/bin or /opt/bin is beyond me.
