Sonata's playlists

Who tell me how to create playlist in sonata. This is the way I am doing it but it doesn't work:
- add some songs to the current list
- shift + left click to mark some songs
- from right mouse menu 'Save as a playlist'
And where is it? Playlist's tab is empty, the same as my playlists folder of mpd. HELP

It sounds like your user doesn't have permission to write to the playlists directory. If your mpd playlists directory is empty, than mpd will tell Sonata that there are no playlists. Try running mpd --verbose and see if mpd spits out any errors about it.

(Also, sonata saves the entire current list to the playlist - selecting songs will not downselect what is saved to the playlist.)

Well it was a user permision problem, strange because I made this folder as a user, thanks a lot!!
