Hi
This thing is driving me crazy.
I am using Konqueror as web browser and as filemanager.
I wanna have the bookmarktoolbar in the webbrowser but NOT in the filemanager.
i was trying to create different profiles etc.
But I just can´t have it. I can have the toolbar in the webbrowser AND the filemanager or NOThave it in both.
How can I achieve this?
thanks

This can be achieved by modifying some config files.
Take a look here (Konqueror With Completely Independent Profiles): http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/KDE_Desktop_Tricks

thanks for this...
but I don´t get it.
I added for ex. this option to my filemanagement profile
[Main Window Settings Toolbar bookmarkToolBar]
Hidden=true
but it still doesn´t work.
Toolbar in both or not at all.

It works for me, did you do all steps described on the wiki page?
You dont have to edit the config files manually to modify your toolbar setup. Just edit them in konqueror after following the wiki instructions...

ok I got it.
I had to delete in the new konqueror-filemanagemnt.rc the following
</ToolBar>
<ToolBar newline="false" noEdit="true" iconText="icontextright" name="bookmarkToolBar" fullWidth="true" >
<text>Bookmark Toolbar</text>
and I also could get rid of the bookmarks menu in the filemanager.
thank you
