hash-style
I saw this morning, that binutils hit 2.18 in current, so i wondered, if arch devs will use the -Wl,--hash-style=both/gnu flag in packages.
Can someone answer my question?

there were several posts on our mailing lists. our toolchain is using the gnu hash-style already for a while. we patch gcc to make gnu hashing the default one. a fallback option is included. no need to apply any further flags to use the new hashing.
