Intel® i82566DC GBit network problem

Hi to all,
first let me say that I love ArchLinux. I switched from gentoo to Archlinux few months ago.
Here is my problem:
Last week I bought a new PC with an Intel DG33TL mainboard and I have a problem with the network.
The network is an Intel® i82566DC GBit network and should work with the famous e1000 (http://sourceforge.net/projects/e1000) driver.
I downloaded, built and installed the module, but there is a problem: the network is very very very very ... ... ... very slow.
It takes too much to load a page. On windows it works without problem.

What can I do to fix this problem? I googled a lot, I found something, but I didn't solve my problem.

Many thanks to all of you, ArchLinux users!

Mauro

NEW:
I noticed that I can surf using a hell browser (links) without problem (it's very fast) and I can also install packages very fast (download at 500 kbyte/s). Konqueror and firefox are very slow... sad sad
