I am using wmii (the latest snap from suckless, not from pacman) on Arch x86_64 . sometimes after killing X using C-M-backspace i see this message thrown at me at Shell:
error: can not open display
Is X running ? .... yeah
what does this suppose to mean ? I have already killed X then why it tries to open the display automatically. I observed the same problem on Arch i686, there i was also using same wmii snap. wmii in pacman is quite older version, so i don't use it.
Has anybody experienced this ?

I got the problem, the culprit is Firefox on x86_64, it froze 6 times in 30 minutes. Window Managers are fine. I have to use:
killall firefox-bin
6 times in 30 minutes to make my system usable, otherwise it goes crazy slow and unresponsive. I will try Frugalware/Debian again. Arch has too many problems on my hardware. Searching a little on forums will tell you about my hardware but here is the shortcut ![]()

Hi guys,
problem is really weired. Firefox is not freezing anymore :-\
It is freezing only when i try to open my blog at wordpress. for every other web-site it work fine. Can you check it for me ? Just try to open my blog (down here in my signatures) and try to read all the posts and tags and see if it makes your Firefox freeze.
I will be thankful

I am not using Arch64 so can't say anything but for me Arch is just fantastic and i think you need more patient:D:D. Trying Arch means you accepted the challenges.:D:D:D
Cheers.
