problem with pacman

hi

i am getting problem while i run command pacman for package installation
it gives error of
syntax error 45

whats that  and how can i get rid of that ????????

You must use an uppercase 'S':
pacman -S package

If you still get that syntax error, post your pacman.conf

I think there is a syntax error in your pacman.conf file.
Please look in /etc/pacman.conf at line 45 for some strange things!
Or post your pacman.conf so we can look at it.
