Firefox commandline problem, width/height not used

My firefox has a nasty habbit of starting fullscreen, which I don't like.

When i try to strart it smaller:

firefox -width 800 -height 600

Nothing happens, it still starts fullscreen.

Other options (like -ProfileManager) are working, it just doesn't seem to do anything with the width/height flags.

The official page with commandline args: http://www.mozilla.org/docs/command-line-args.html
and another one: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Command_line_arguments

I have no searched hours on arch/firefox forums and google but I just can't seem to find a solution.

I am fully updated and use IceWM.

Any ideas?

Re: Firefox commandline problem, width/height not used

Cold comfort I am sure, but I have never managed to get Firefox to pay attention to any of the "standard" X command line arguments. At least you are not alone!
