where be the terminus font?

I can't seem to find it. I have used it before, but i can't remember if it was here or on ubuntu. Anyway, if anyone has any idea where this particular font set is please tell me.

Re: where be the terminus font?

right, right...I knew it was in some sort of repo. That little search box on archlinux.org doesn't search the community i guess. It searches core, extra, and testing, but it doesn't search community.

Re: where be the terminus font?

searching pacman and maybe also AUR for font is revealing sometimes

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

Re: where be the terminus font?

Glad you got Terminus sorted out.  I don't believe you'll find Essay in the repo (or any distro's repos for that matter), but it's embarrassingly simple to install it wink

1. Create a folder in home directory called .fonts
2. Download the Truetype archive from the site you mentioned (the tarball or zip will do fine)
3. Extract the .ttf file within to your newly created ~/.fonts folder
